Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor Starts off with explaining who he is to his new compainion, Ruby (Millie Gibson). and explaining that the other timelords died in a large geniside. He takes ruby to different points in time, from when the dinasoraus are a thing to the year 20506 space station.

This is when Ruby and the Doctor meet the crew of the ship that is run by infants, where the babies never grew up, where a robot nanny is looking after the younglings who are in charge of a space station that has the “boogyman” at the bottom of the ship.

During the adventure they are asked to go to portal 357, on the way Ruby’s brithday memory was brough back to life with it being snowing in the wind. The Doctor asks the nanny who the bogy man is, but even she doesn’t know as it was never on the manifest.
Eric one of the ships babies head down to fight the boogyman on his own, however gets scared.
The Bogeyman reminds of Alien in the game.

The bogyman was grown out of bogies which was created as the kids on the ship were blowing the nere nose and was created out of this in the same way that the babies on the ship were being created.

Ruby then got invited to join the tardis by having her own tardis key. Ruby was given some terms and conditions: Which was to never take her to the church where she was born, she then took her to her parents, he then proceed to give Ruby a DNA scan in which the episode ends.

Over the whole episode i was thinking was this really made for young children? in all honesty no. it is scary but its based on a children’s story of the bogeyman,

It was a brilliant start to a brand new season of Doctor Who.. and would recommend it to doctor who fans, old and young but make sure to have that pillow ready for the scary scenes.
