Over the last few days I have been working hard to improve the discord server and allow the community to feel safe and welcome. I have many different hobbies/interests/pasions and wanted to incorpriate that into the design of the discord server.
- IBD, Chron’s and Colitis Support Group: This is a support group for those suffering with a similar or the same condition as myself, to allow for advice, or even to rant freely without worry of being singled out.
- Autism Support Group: I have high functioning autism and sometimes struggles with day to day activities or events that happen each day. Knowing the fact there is alot of people in my auditism who struggle with autism and/or ADHD there is now a safe spaceto rant or just chat to others and not to feel alone.
- Business Startups: I have recently started my own business; EB IT Support LTD a computer repair MSP based in Boston Lincolnshire UK. – The struggles of starting a business alone can be tiring and just getting the simple bit of advice from another business person could really help grow a business.
- Developers: I have done many different development projects in the past from websites, to coding UniFly, a Cross Sim Multiplayer Platform for flight simulator enthusiasts. The Developer section of our discord allows developers for assistance with scripts or code or just to learn something new.
- 3D Printing: On the 3rd March 2024 I bought myself a 3D Printer a: Creality, Ender 3 Neo (aff), and with different models being printed, and the errors, crashes that happen having other people in the hobby can really assist your growth. I have also added a section to share your own models.
- Gaming: Now I have been into gaming since i was 5 or 6, from Minecraft, to CSGO. All the way to FiveM and Valorant. I have been a gamer at heart majority of the time. It doesn’t go amist that even during a work day a game can be open in the background to calm me down during the lul points or inbetween clients. What ever the game, there is a section for you to find someone.
- Geeks & Nerds: Since watching the rebirth of Doctor who with Christopher ecleston i have been stuck in the doctor who era, thats why majority of the time on the 247GeekCast stream you will nearly always see something relating to doctor who on my desk. Now there is plenty of different shows that I have watched, and the discord server caters for these in the case of a “Discord Forum”.
- Drones & UAV’s: On the 6th October 2023, I bought myself a DJI Mini 2 SE (aff) which has been used in different vlogs, topic discussions and even just random 360 degree posts on facebook. This allows other drone pilots to discuss issues, share videos and pics or just typically talk about drones and the laws surrounding them.
While all these new categories now mean we have an influx of categories, acording to a poll conducted the current members of the community love the new spread out nature of the discord.
Now when you first join the discord you will not see all these channels, you must first self assign these roles via the Channels & Roles Feature, this will give you access to certain roles that you select. Please be mindful that IBD, Autism, are sensitive roles and abuse in these areas will not be accepted.

Some roles on our discord server are auto assigned by discord under the linked roles: This includes;
- Content Creator: You must have a twitch, Youtube, or tiktok(100 followers) to gain the content creator linked role, this will allow you to post your videos/streams to our #self promotion channel.
- Developer: You must have linked to github to get the developer role.
- Gamer Linked: You must have either: Playstation Now, Battle Net, League of Legends, Epic Games, Riot Games, or Steam account connected to obtain this role.
